Boom!

As I placed my tea in it's home next to me in front of the computer and I was peacefully sailing the waves of the internet. Suddenly, I was struck by the realization that I had forgotten something outrageously important.

Boom!

My peaceful day quickly shattered by panic, dread, and that feeling of "you dummy, why didn't you double check your dates?"
Brain spews forth the news that I had better check my school schedule and sure enough there it is--the first day of classes. I already missed my first class!

I sprint to the shower, on my way I grab my phone and call my husband. He has the car and there is no answer on the other end. I shower rapidly and make another attempt to reach him as I head to my room. Finally, he is on the phone.

What an interestingly awkward beginning to Spring Quarter.

    1. Nice to meet you, too! Thanks for stopping in. The rest of the day was so tiring after the adrenaline ran out. Also, I felt as if I was playing catch-up the rest of the day.

  3. Oh no! Did that really happen? I feel a bit of anxiety just reading about it, actually. Great post for the challenge.

  4. Oh no!! I so did that just this past February! It was chaos, I had my dates swapped. Thank goodness there was a makeup class that I could attend otherwise I would have totally missed orientation. I wonder sometimes if my subconscious mind is trying to sabotage me, lol. I hope you made it to class!!!

    1. Subconscious sabotage is what I have been thinking it is, too! Thanks for stopping in. I made it to my next three classes on time and on target and talked with my professor from my first class, everything is okay. :)
